Job Summary: 
Develop strategies with the goal of maximizing Junge Control Division profits while ensuring customer satisfaction. Oversee product development or monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services. Drive the evolution of technology and products through market research and innovation. Apply theory and principles of mechanical, electrical and computer engineering to engineer and design products based on customer specifications and application.  Work with sales to provide technical product support.  Work in the development of product layouts and final drawings to be performed for new proposals and current designs. Coordinate all aspects upon receiving the sales order, submitting approval drawings, receiving approvals, forward to scheduling, and shipping the finished product

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Bachelor of Science Degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum 5-10 years of experience in engineering, sales, product management and/or technical support.  Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing efficiency.  Must possess a well-rounded knowledge of production processes and drawing interpretation. Valid driver’s license and passport for international travel required.

  • Experience in liquid flow and pumping is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Project management experience
  • Proficient computer skills, including Windows, Word and Excel, Internet, AutoCAD, Solidworks or other drafting programs
  • Strong analyticaland problem solving skills
  • Mechanical and technical skills and knowledge
  • Ability to think overall picture, but also work hands-on in the field in support of customers

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive the evolution of JCI technology and products for domestic & international markets through market research and innovation
  • Promote the JCI technology and value proposition to business and technical users
  • Provide technical problem solving and devise customer solutions in conjunction with the sales team
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Promote and incorporate other AGI products into customer solutions
  • Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.  Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support.
  • Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions.
  • Diagnose problems with installed equipment.
  • Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers, documenting how such changes will lower costs or increase production.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.
  • Provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients or other staff members regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Review project instructions and specifications to identify, modify and plan requirements fabrication, assembly and testing.  Ascertain test specifications, procedures, and objectives, and test nature of technical problems such as redesign. 
  • Discuss changes in design, method of manufacture and assembly, and drafting techniques and procedures with staff and coordinate corrections.                                                             
    Coordinate all aspects of the project upon receiving the sales order, submitting approval drawings, receiving approvals, forward to scheduling, and to shipping the finished product. 
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive drawing library and bill of materials program for engineering operations. 
  • Responsible for employee and customer safety concerning all designed equipment that requires compliance with applicable regulatory agencies.
  • Other tasks and duties as required.   
  • Identify and develop product enhancements to existing Junge Control products based on customer and sales representative’s feedback. Oversee the scope of work and schedule for implementation of these enhancements.
  • Identify new products or features for Junge Control products.
