AGI Falls City Marks 3 Years No Lost-Time

Naperville, IL, April 30, 2025 — Ag Growth International (“AGI”) celebrates an outstanding safety milestone at its Falls City, NE manufacturing facility achieving a three-year no lost time incidence record. AGI marked the achievement by presenting employees with the prestigious AGI Safety Stand-Out Award presented during the company’s 5th Annual Safety Week.

“I commend the AGI Falls City team for achieving no lost time injuries in three consecutive years. This milestone proves that safety, as a guiding principle, is deeply ingrained in our work culture,” says Paul Householder, AGI President & CEO. “They embody AGI’s highest global priority ensuring every employee returns home safely in the same way they arrived."

A lost time incident (LTI) refers to a non-fatal injury causing disability or missed work due to an injury. The LTI measurement is a baseline representation of a company's safety performance and the effects of those injuries on workforce productivity.

According to AGI Falls City General Manager Kelly Ireland, safety starts with quality co-workers who have a strong work ethic and take responsibility for each other.

"From the production floor to the office, this team is one of the most exceptional groups I've had the privilege to work with,” says Ireland. “Their loyalty, hard work and dedication to safety are unmatched. They take ownership of best practices for their own safety and the well-being of their co-workers."

Safety is not only a priority at the Falls City plant; it is part of its business DNA.

Acquired by AGI in 2008, the facility, with its 65-person work force, has a longstanding reputation as a world-class manufacturer of engineered-to-order aeration and dust collection systems – products geared to make the air cleaner and safer for commercial grain storage and processing at terminals. The AGI Airlanco product lines help companies meet the clean air guidelines set by the U.S. Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with products like centrifugal and axial fans, ducting, transitions, and other sheet metal and aeration solutions.

Henry Palomino, AGI Vice President of Supply Chain and North America Manufacturing, says the Falls City, NE team exemplifies AGI’s safety vision in action. “Creating habits and core values around safety is a journey. This team’s three-year milestone shows that you can be safe every day. It raises the bar for what safety excellence means.”

This month two of AGI’s facilities in Nebraska earned stand-out safety status. Also, AGI Omaha earned a 3-year no lost time distinction. Read about it here
