AGI adds a pre-cleaner and vertical fuel tank to its product lineup at AIM
Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, July 16, 2024 – Ag Growth International (“AGI”), a global leader in providing grain storage, handling and conditioning solutions, is introducing two new equipment innovations focused on farm-level efficiency during this week’s Ag in Motion (AIM) – the largest outdoor farm expo in Western Canada (near Saskatoon, Saskatchewan). With a 25-year legacy in manufacturing, AGI has added a new pre-cleaner attachment for mixed flow dryers and a vertical, single-wall ULC fuel storage tank to its product showcase.

AGI's patent-pending pre-cleaner system is designed to work with energy efficient mixed flow dryers, which are screen-free and built to deliver even heating and cooling to help preserve grain quality. The optional pre-cleaner system significantly removes unwanted dust and debris emissions from grain – like beeswings, fines and chaff before entering the dryer. This further reduces the energy needed to dry grain, improves dryer efficiency and yields higher quality results.
The pre-cleaner system includes:
- Aspirator gravity fill
- 3 HP aspirator blower with VFD and controls
- Cyclone separator and piping
- Full roof catwalk with blower access platform for 24’ & 32’ dryers
Featured for the first time at Ag in Motion, the AGI Westeel® ULC S601 vertical liquid tank, capable of storing a whopping 125,000L, is ideal for storing large volumes of combustible liquids (i.e., gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, and ethanol) in a small footprint. An undisputed leader in the fabrication of ULC and UL listed vertical fuel tanks, AGI Westeel tanks range in size from less than 1,000L to 235,000L configurations with almost unlimited sizes and configurations in between. All tanks are coated with long-lasting, corrosion-resistant, powder coat finish.
“As equipment goes, farm fuel tanks often get forgotten until there is a problem. The ULC certification ensures that unique storage requirements for a wide variety of liquids, including refined fuels, are met and safety best practices are in place,” says Brisebois, noting that AGI Westeel tanks are ULC-fabricated to meet provincial and national fire codes for responsible, long-lasting, safe storage of flammable or combustible liquids. “Also, a larger-capacity tank allows farmers to take advantage of bulk discounts, lower fuel prices and peace of mind during peak periods like harvest.”
