AGI, UNION IRON ANNOUNCE NEW PRODUCTION FACILITY

WINNIPEG, Manitoba – September 3rd, 2014 – Ag Growth International (AGI) is pleased to announce the construction of a new production facility in Decatur, IL for their Union Iron division. The 135,000 square foot building located on the north east side of town will replace the two existing manufacturing sites and unite all production and office personnel under one roof.
“We are very pleased about the opportunity to have all of the Union Iron operations contained within one facility. This will enhance the effectiveness and productivity of our operations and improve the service levels we provide to our customers,” said Gary Anderson, President and CEO of AGI. “The team at Union Iron has done an excellent job of keeping up with the growth in our domestic and international business; this new facility will allow us to continue to grow and improve the Union Iron product line.”
The property has been acquired and initial grading of the site began in August. The new facility is expected to be completed by April of 2015 and will create 25 new full-time jobs.

During the planning and approval process AGI worked in close cooperation with Illinois state and local authorities to secure this economic development.
