Win grain bin safety equipment and training for your fire department

At AGI, safety is our top priority. We want our employees to leave in the same condition they arrived - healthy, injury-free and safe. This guiding principle extends to the farmers we serve every day. We recognize the many dangers on a farm and want to provide potentially lifesaving equipment and training to farming communities in need.

When someone becomes trapped in a grain bin, rural firefighters are often the first on the scene. And unfortunately, many fire departments lack the equipment and training needed for a successful grain bin rescue.

AGI is collaborating with Trans-Care Rescue, Ltd. in Canada and the National Education Center for Agricultural Safety (NECAS) in the United States to provide grain rescue equipment and hands-on training to one fire department in Canada and another in the United States. The AGI Rescue Ready contest will help equip firefighters and other emergency personnel with the equipment and training they need to save lives when farm workers are trapped in grain bins.

The AGI Rescue Ready contest runs from January 13 to September 30, 2025.
