Understanding the mCM001 AC Current Sensor Module
- The mCM001 is an application specific AC current sensor
- The sensor is packaged in a potted plastic case and is fully calibrated
- The unit monitors current from 0 – 5A AC. The circuit to be monitored is passed through the attached current sensing coil
- The device connects to the single-wire communications bus using the attached 2m (6’) cable and RJ-11 connector
- Power is derived from the single-wire bus, external power is not required
