Understanding the mAM001 Analog Input Module:
- The unit monitors analog inputs of 0 – 10 VDC or 0 – 20 mA
- The analog input is fully isolated from the single-wire bus
- When used with an approved barrier protected sensor power supply the module is intrinsically safe
- The device connects to the single-wire communications bus using the attached 2m (6’) cable and RJ-11 connector
- Power is derived from the single-wire bus
- External power is required for the isolated analog system
