Save time and labor with AGI augers
Investing in the right augers and accessories can help farmers take back time from their busy schedules.
“When we look at our full lineup of portable handling equipment, we try to look at the products and accessories that will complement what the farmer is trying to do,” says AGI's Greg Giesbrecht.
AGI has completed studies with some of our augers to determine where they can save the most time and it all starts with capacity.
“We make everything from a 6-inch auger to a 16-inch auger. When you get into the high-capacity augers you can save multiple minutes per truck when you’re unloading grain into a bin, and that adds up,” says Giesbrecht.

Additionally, AGI has auger accessories that can reduce the amount of labor that goes into handling the grain. One of the most popular accessories is the power swing.
“The power swing makes the hopper move mechanically in and out. This can be done by one person, reducing labor,” says Giesbrecht. “It’s so simple but a very important accessory. AGI has been making it for many years.”

Another accessory is the drive over hopper called the X-Over, which is attached to the swingaway auger. The truck simply drives over the hopper, stops where it needs to and unloads the grain.
“Trucks drive over things on a farm and this product is designed for that,” says Giesbrecht.

We also offer the X-Tend retracting swing auger, which features a low-profile hopper, and retracts and moves side to side using hydraulic controls.
