AGI launches Conveyor for a Cause Campaign (Radio Interview)

Since its peak in 1986, the breast cancer death rate has been nearly cut in half. Today, the 5-year survival rate continues to improve. But there is still work to do! 

Ag Growth International’s (AGI) Canadian farm team has released a pink limited-edition UCX³ U-trough belt conveyor to raise funds to support breast cancer awareness. 

AGI's Tom Firth, Senior Director of Manufacturing, spoke with Golden West Radio about "how" the idea became reality, the importance of farmer and ag community support, and the AGI Swift Current team's excitement about manufacturing a conveyor that drives awareness for cancer research.

"Actually, it's been an idea I've had for about 10 years," says Tom. "Since the time I've been down in Swift Current that we would do something with a pink conveyor to really, really bring awareness to not only breast cancer, but cancer in general...."
