Team Canada Curling

On January 26th, Team Gauthier became national champs at the 2020 New Holland Canadian Junior Men’s Champions held in January in Langley, B.C. The best in Canada! Becoming Team Canada, they got the opportunity to travel to Krasnoyarsk, Russia to take on the world championship. Team Canada went on to win gold and become the World Junior Men’s Curling Champions.

Team Gauthier consisted of: Skip – Jacques Gauthier, Third – Jordan Peters, and Second – Brayden Payette, Lead – Zack Bilawka

Jordan, who works with the Westfield team in Rosenort, Manitoba, started curling at the age of 4 in Winkler, Manitoba. He quickly discovered his love for the game. This passion developed as Jordan competed professionally from 2017 to 2020. For Jordan, success came early, as he won the U18 Manitoba Curling Championships in 2017, and his talent prevails today as he and his team are the 2020 U21 World Curling Champions.

Jordan has won several titles including:
