We’ve brought the team that built COMVEX, together to discuss what went into building a world class grain terminal. We deconstruct the whole process, from first conversations, to the overall design, including silo and conveyor calculations to project management and customer relationships. We bring together our Technical Manager, Systems Integrator, Project Manager, VP of Strategic Accounts and our guests from COMVEX to share their insights and answer questions.
COMVEX, established in 1991 is the largest bulk raw material handling terminal in the Black Sea. Expanding their operation, the Romanian port operator was granted a €33.6 million loan to build a new grain terminal at the strategic location at the Port of Constanta. With conceptualization starting in 2014, the grain terminal is now nearing completion and worth about €50 million.
