Support AGI substructures are designed to support 15 ft. (4.57 m) diameter or 18 ft. (5.49 m) diameter farm duty hopper tanks. Each substructure will support an 8 ring hopper tank with 45-degree outlet cone or a 7 ring hopper tank with 60-degree outlet cone.

Design Substructures are designed in accordance with the requirements set out by the 13th Edition of the American Institute of Steel Construction’s (AISC) “Manual of Steel Construction.” Loading conditions are in accordance with applicable portions of the American Society of Civil Engineers’ “Minimum Design Loads for Buildings and Other Structures” (ASCE 7-10).

2009 International Building Code The minimum design requirements for AGI structures are in accordance with the applicable portions of the 2009 International Building Code (IBC). AGI substructures are not designed to support commercial hopper tanks or any hopper tank supplied by another manufacturer.
