How it works:
Brown rice is introduced through an inlet, and a feed screw evenly distributes it within the polishing chamber through its spiral threads. Conical-shaped abrasive wheels and metal screens, positioned vertically, gently remove bran with minimal friction. Brakes between the screens control rice grain rotation, allowing for efficient polishing from top to bottom. This process delicately removes the outer bran layer.
The unique shape and positioning of the abrasive wheels result in minimal rice breakage and tip breakage, ensuring a higher final yield. A set of knobs is provided to adjust the parallel gap between grinding wheels and brakes.
When the abrasive wheels wear beyond the limit, the entire grinding wheel assembly can be lifted to maintain the optimal gap between the screen and grinding for optimum utilization of grinding wheels.
